Hey Cookin’ Greens fans,

We have some pretty big news to share…drum roll…We are going to appear on the 17th episode, of the 7th season of the top CBC show Dragons’ DenThat’s right, Dragons Den! I know we can hardly believe it too. It’s been just over 11 months since Natalie and I pitched Cookin’ Greens to the CBC producers, in the lobby of the CBC, on Front Street in Toronto, and we just got wind that the segment will be airing on March 24 @ 8:00 pm EST. In honour of our debut we have contacted some awesome Canadian Food Bloggers to help promote our episode. Enjoy what’s about to unfold – lots of fun and lots of greens… (leafy greens that is….)

Sneak Peek: Toby and Cheryl in the Den

Our Canadian Food Bloggers have been hard at work these past few weeks creating a recipe fit for their Dragon. Starting on March 18th each of their recipes will be released daily on the Cookin’ Greens Facebook page.

1. Kelly Brisson, The Gouda Life, designed a nutritious breakfast recipe for marketing maven Arlene Dickinson using the Cookin’ Greens Designer’s Mix.

2. Michelle Peters-Jones, The Tiffin Box, concocted a spicy dinner recipe for internet superstar Bruce Croxon using the Cookin’ Greens Chopped Rapini

3. Bob & Carlene, BS in the Kitchen, devised an appetizer recipe for the Bay Street Bigmouth {and meanest of the dragons} Kevin O’Leary, using the Cookin’ Greens Chopped Spinach.

4. Angela, Eat Spin Run Repeat created a quick lunch recipe for the newest Dragon, David Chilton, using the Cookin’ Greens Chopped Kale.

5. Louisa, Living Lou constructed a dinner recipe for “foodie” Dragon, Jim Treliving, using the Cookin’ Greens Athlete’s Mix.

We can’t spill all the “greens” today, come back on Friday, when we will be posting pictures of our time in the Den.

Make sure you follow us on Facebook and Twitter so you don’t miss a thing!
