Serves 2 as side-dish or use as the base for a variety of other recipes

3-4 tbsp (45-60 ml) olive or vegetable oil
2-3 med. garlic cloves-finely chopped
2 1/2 cups (250 g) of your favourite Cookin’ Greens
1/2 cup (250ml) chicken or water or
vegetable stock (optional)
1/4 tsp (1 ml) sea salt (or to taste)
1/8 tsp (0.5 ml) pepper (or to taste)
1-2 tsp (5-10 ml) balsamic vinegar (optional)


Heat oil in large frying pan; add garlic. Stir. Add your favorite Cookin’ Greens product. Stir. Add stock. Continue to
cook over medium heat 6-7 minutes stirring frequently.
Reduce heat to low. Add salt and pepper to taste; blend well, cook one minute longer or until desired tenderness. Remove from heat. Add balsamic vinegar (optional), blend well again.
Serve immediately or use chilled.

Do not over cook your greens. Ensure greens are cooked evenly. For food safety reasons, internal temperature should reach 71C or 160F. Keep frozen until ready to use.
Store unused product in freezer.
